Originally by: Crec Mei I've done all the suggestions on here, all voice options are set to 0, extra lib files.... it's getting really frustrating.
Sounds a bit like your OpenGL driver isn't working correctly.

Wine 0.9.45 is out - Includes the audio patch and a fixed crash condition that affected character creation (and some random crashes too I think).

Originally by: Miril Are there any extra steps I could try to get the text readable?
Not that I know of. Maybe adding more of the Arial fonts. I've got five of them: plain, bold, italic, bold-italic and black. Plus 26 other fonts.

Originally by: Wampart Erlick The first one is issues with graphics corruption. Graphics frequently show up blurred, or in the wrong locations.
The second problem is the client crashing when I undock from the station.
ATI graphics card by any chance?

Originally by: scyno***** I have the latest wine 0.9.48 and I cannot read much of the text. Would I have no choice but to downgrade to 0.9.44 to fix this problem ?
Afaik, most people haven't struck the problem. Will be interesting to know if .44 fixes it still.

Originally by: rig0r Gave sisi patch a go with wine-git, get splash, EULA and logon screen but it crashes the moment I put focus on the username field. Same without sound disabled.
It's been that way for the last month or so. Many Windoze users are having similar problems.
You'll find it's dead as soon as the EULA closes. The login screen is displayed behind the EULA.

Originally by: CCP Lingorm The reason the Sisi (test client) does not work is that we have some code in there that is not support by the current emulators. This is the Asynchronous IO and IO Completion.
Thanks for the heads-up.
